During their 2011 honeymoon in the United States, Andrea and Rossella began to see their home region from a different perspective. While exploring supermarkets, food trucks, specialty food stores, and everyday dining experiences along the East Coast, they realized how meaningful it could be to introduce the authentic flavors of their beloved Emilia to people around the world. The idea of bringing a piece of their home to tables far beyond Italy became the seed of a dream.

After returning home, that dream remained in the background while they continued working, traveling, and building their life together. In 2014, they welcomed their daughter, Beatrice, and life became even busier. Yet the idea never disappeared. When Beatrice was still a baby, Andrea and Rossella decided it was time to give their dream a chance.

With limited free time, they began searching for small producers who shared their passion, values, and dedication to authentic Italian food. Meeting these producers and discovering their craftsmanship became a turning point and helped transform their original idea into something tangible.
