Guided by the Hermanson family, Mr. Christmas is dedicated to creating high-quality, timeless products that bring families together and become treasured holiday keepsakes for generations.

A Legacy of Holiday Magic Since 1933

The story of Mr. Christmas began with Merril Hermanson, who started by designing Christmas window displays for local businesses and selling tinsel from the back of his truck. What began as a small business gradually grew into a comprehensive collection of seasonal decorations for the home. Merril envisioned bringing the spectacular magic of professional holiday displays to everyday families, allowing people everywhere to experience the joy and excitement of the Christmas season in their own homes.

Through creativity, dedication, and a passion for festive design, Merril established a lasting foundation for the brand. His vision continues to inspire Mr. Christmas, shaping its commitment to imaginative products that capture the spirit of the holidays year after year.

A Family Business Across Three Generations

Family heritage has always been at the heart of Mr. Christmas. Today, Merril Hermanson's legacy is carried forward by his granddaughters, Leslie and Merril, who lead the company and continue to develop its distinctive holiday collections.

Having worked for years under the guidance of their grandfather and their father, Terry, Leslie and Merril gained extensive knowledge of every aspect of the business. Their experience, creativity, and customer-focused approach help preserve the brand's traditions while bringing fresh ideas to each new collection. Their leadership reflects a shared commitment to honoring the past while creating memorable products for today's families.
