Hi! We’re Hannah and Brady, the founders of Seven Sundays.
Our story began with a love for muesli that we discovered during our honeymoon in New Zealand. When we returned home to the United States, Hannah had an idea: what if cereal could be made and sold differently?
She rolled up her sleeves and began developing the very first Seven Sundays recipe — our original muesli.
In the summer of 2011, we sold our first bag of muesli at a farmers’ market in Minneapolis. For the next several years, Hannah built the business from the ground up, using an old Raleigh bicycle, a bike trailer, a friend’s kitchen, and a basement office.
It was humble, hands-on, and a little unconventional — but it was the beginning of something special.
For years, we ate the same cereals we had grown up with. Eventually, we decided it was time to create something different.
In 2020, we launched our own line of cereal. Yes, 2020!
Despite a few early challenges, Seven Sundays quickly became a cereal company almost overnight. We discovered that many people were looking for exactly what we were making: better-tasting cereal made with simple, wholesome ingredients.
Today, our range of cereals, granolas, and 100% whole-grain oats can be found in major grocery stores across the country.
But while our reach, family, and team have grown, the heart of our business remains the same.
At Seven Sundays, we believe in the power of real food made from thoughtfully grown, farm-sourced ingredients — not overly engineered formulas made in a laboratory.
We believe food should be simple, delicious, and recognizable. That's why we focus on ingredients you can feel good about and flavors that make you genuinely excited to start your day.
In many ways, our food reflects who we are: gently sweet, naturally crunchy, straightforward, and unapologetically real.
We may have our Midwestern roots, but we're not afraid to speak honestly about what we believe — even when it ruffles a few feathers.
For our family, Sunday has always represented something special.
It's the day when we feel most alive, reconnect with what matters, and disconnect from what doesn't. It's a chance to put down the phone, slow down, make time for ourselves and the people we love, and live a little more intentionally.
Sunday gives us the perspective we need to approach the week ahead.
That's the spirit behind Seven Sundays: making everyday moments feel a little more meaningful.
The number seven means more to us than simply the days of the week. It represents our belief that how we build our business matters just as much as what we put in our products.
We are proud to be a Certified B Corporation, reflecting our commitment to meeting high standards of social and environmental responsibility.
As we continue to grow, our goal remains simple: make better food, support better choices, and build a business that does better for people and the planet.
From our first farmers’ market bag of muesli to the shelves of grocery stores across the country, Seven Sundays has always been about doing things a little differently — with honesty, intention, and a genuine love for good food.
