COSTA NOVA – Inspiration and Style for Your Table

COSTA NOVA is a premium Portuguese tableware brand inspired by the belief that some of life's most meaningful moments are shared around the table with family and friends. The brand creates elegant ceramic collections that combine quality, distinctive design, and traditional European craftsmanship, bringing Portuguese ceramic heritage into contemporary homes and dining spaces.

Portuguese Craftsmanship and Sustainable Materials

COSTA NOVA ceramic products are made in Portugal, using locally sourced natural raw materials as well as innovative clay materials incorporating recycled content. Traditional craftsmanship remains an important part of the production process, with skilled techniques carefully preserved while modern technology is integrated into manufacturing.

Each collection is designed to balance authentic craftsmanship, modern lifestyle, and long-lasting durability. The result is distinctive and elegant tableware created for everyday use and intended to remain beautiful and functional for years and across generations.

Bringing Portuguese Heritage to the World

Today, COSTA NOVA brings Portuguese design and ceramic heritage to customers around the world. Its products are available across five continents, including leading home décor stores, department stores, hotels, restaurants, and hospitality destinations.

The brand is part of COSTA NOVA Industria, which traces its origins to Grestel – Produtos Cerâmicos, founded in 1998 and headquartered in Vagos, Portugal. The group specializes in the production of premium ceramic tableware, ovenware, and serving accessories, combining extensive manufacturing expertise with contemporary design.

Expertise in Premium Ceramics

COSTA NOVA Industria is internationally recognized for its expertise in ceramic manufacturing. The group operates three production facilities—Grestel 2, Grestel 3, and Ecogres—and owns the brands COSTA NOVA and Casafina by COSTA NOVA.

The group also provides private-label manufacturing services, developing products and collections for well-known international brands. With more than 85% of its production exported, the company has established a strong international presence, with the United States representing one of its key markets.

Tradition Meets Modern Technology

At its production facilities in Portugal, COSTA NOVA combines traditional shaping and decorating techniques with modern manufacturing technology. This distinctive approach allows the brand to preserve the character and authenticity of Portuguese ceramic craftsmanship while producing high-quality pieces designed to withstand everyday use.

From dinner plates and serving pieces to ovenware and accessories, COSTA NOVA collections are created to bring style, functionality, and a sense of occasion to the dining experience.

At its core, COSTA NOVA celebrates the art of living and sharing. Through Portuguese craftsmanship, thoughtful design, quality materials, and a commitment to durability, the brand transforms everyday meals into opportunities to connect, gather, and create lasting memories around the table.
